Summer Days

I am one chem final away from freedom! After staying up past 2 working on an 8 page paper and then waking up at 7am to write a 3-4 page paper for the final, I never want to read 100 year of Solitude or Borges ever again. I actually liked Macchu Picchu, even if it didn't relate to any of the prompts. I suspect I would have thought kindly of 100 years had it not been a requirement. Borges was my enemy after he mentioned Schopenhauer more than once. I don't like anyone who is BFFs with Schopenhauer.

Hopefully with no job this summer, I can update this more regularly. I think I'm going to make it more about cool things I do and make and cool things other people should do and make. That way it gives me more of a purpose and an idea what to write about, rather than just slapping down anything that comes to mind. So stay tuned my three readers to a multitude of awesomeness on the horizon.

I'm actually excited for the summer. Of course I will miss my college friends to death but I'm excited to see other friends, especially you Allan :), i know you read this, and plan all kinds of fun things to do and make and blog about. Not that I won't be doing work, I plan to fill out a humane society application for next year, update my resume, work on my murder mystery club, and map out my classes for next year.

I also have more ideas on what I need for my dorm room next year. These are things that kept cropping up throughout the year that I would have never thought of, ziploc bags, windex, things that magically appear in my house but don't seem to in the dorms. I will also be making a comprehensive list of what I could have used this year so I won't forget it for next year
